About Us

 

A little about myself, the founder here at Bare Packaging and how we got to where we are today. I grew up surfing in the crystal clear waters along the NSW South Coast. After spending so much time in these pristine settings, it lead me to studying Environmental Science at the University of Wollongong where I graduated with Honours. Later, I went onto work closely with a small Australian based clothing company, where I noticed the huge amount of waste that is generated through shipping goods around the world. The sheer volume of single use plastic used in packaging alone is phenomenal. In 2019, Australia Post alone handled over 3.1 billion parcels! Adding to this, a majority of these goods are packaged in their own plastic packaging or polybags. With the rapidly increasing growth in the e-Commerce world, these figures are increasing year on year.

 

After years of caring for and studying the Environment, I took this opportunity to create a range of packaging products to help combat this problem - Bare Packaging was born.

The aim of Bare Packaging is to provide an environmentally friendly and affordable range of packaging options for those people and businesses that are trying to make this world a better place. But without your support - none of this is possible! We want to help give back to our communities. Through our Bare Cares Program, each month we choose an organisation that is doing great things within their local community and donate 10% of our proceeds to them.

Individually it’s a small change, but I feel together we can make this world a better place. Let’s leave the Earth Bare!
